2009 T-Ball & Stars
Our T-Ball division is for 5 & 6 year olds. The age of a child on or before April 30th will define the age of the player for the season. This is being done primarily in an effort to broaden the amount of teaching being done at this age level. Children who are not at least 5 years old as of April 30th will be asked to participate in our Stars division. The Stars division is for 3 & 4 year olds. They play a limited amount of low impact games on Saturday mornings.
Our T-Ball division is the foundation of the entire Spring Hill Little League organization. Our mission is for every T-Baller to one day be a member of one of our Major League teams. A concious effort is being made to make the T-Ball games fun and educational for all league members. We want to mold the game to look as much like real baseball as possible considering the age group involved. The goal is to teach these kids as much about the game as they are ready to learn. Hopefully, by re-enforcing proper baseball fundementals these younger players will develop quicker. Patience is the key.
